Moulded and extruded components for sealing, gasketing and vibration isolation, plus custom parts and ready-to-use compounds. Everything is made to your drawing, sample or specification. If it is rubber and it seals, we most likely make it.
Moulded Components
Cured under heat and pressure in hydraulic presses, with tooling held in-house. Best for complex geometry, tight tolerances and high repeatability. See also silicone gaskets. Every part here is moulded in EPDM, NBR, FKM or Neoprene to the same drawing.
Moulded Gaskets
Compression and transfer moulded gaskets in Silicone, EPDM, NBR, FKM and Neoprene, 20 to 90 Shore A. For flanges, enclosures and housings that see pressure and temperature cycling. Made to your drawing, or reverse-engineered from a worn sample.
Ready tooling for 10,000+ sizes covering BS 1806, ISO 3601 and metric standards, in every compound we mix. Static and dynamic sealing from -60°C to +230°C depending on polymer. Repeat orders on existing tooling ship fast.
Rubber Grommets
Cable and wire-entry grommets that hold IP67 and IP68 in enclosure walls. Silicone and EPDM standard, with blind closed-membrane types for unused knockouts. We design the interference fit for your panel thickness and hole size.
Washers & Gaskets
Over 1,000 standard sizes plus custom dimensions to drawing. Any of our elastomers, 30 to 90 Shore A, with fabric-reinforced grades where bolt loads would crush plain rubber. Volumes from a handful to millions.
Bushes & Anti-Vibration Pads
Bushes, mounts and machine pads that isolate vibration and spread load, including rubber-to-metal bonded types. NBR, CR and natural rubber blends chosen for your load and deflection. Send the machine weight and footprint and we do the sums.
Rubber-to-Metal Bonded Parts
Rubber vulcanised directly onto steel, stainless or brass inserts — anti-vibration mounts, bonded bushes and sealing plates. Grit-blasted and primed before moulding, so the bond fails in the rubber, never at the interface. Your insert or ours.
Extruded Components
Continuously vulcanised to a constant cross-section, cut to length or joined into loops. Thousands of die profiles on hand, new dies cut to your drawing. See also silicone extrusion. EPDM sections run on a dedicated line, down to 40 Shore A.
Profiles & Channels
Thousands of die profiles on hand: U-channels, D-sections, A- and P-sections, wiper blades, glazing and edge trims. New dies are cut in our own toolroom in days, not weeks. EPDM for weather, silicone for heat and cold.
Closed-cell sponge profiles, cords and strips. Lower compression stress and weight than solid rubber, so lightweight doors and covers still close properly. Densities compounded to your compression-deflection spec.
Joined Gaskets & Seals
Extruded lengths vulcanised end-to-end into endless loops. A-type, D-type and P-type sections with a joint as strong as the profile itself, no glue line to fail. Where a loop needs to stay square, we vulcanise mitred 45° corners so the frame holds its shape. The standard fix for enclosure doors that leak at the corners.
Silicone Tubing
Extruded silicone tubing, 1 mm to 40 mm ID, wall thickness held to tight tolerance on the CV line — liquid transfer, gas lines, insulation sleeves and gasketing. Compliant grades for food, pharmaceutical and potable water service: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, BfR XV, USP Class VI and BS 6920, with documents on every dispatch. EPDM and NBR to order.
Cords & Strips
Solid cord 1 mm to 25 mm diameter, 45 to 90 Shore A, cut to length or joined into rings — often the cheapest way to seal a machined groove. Flat silicone packing strip under our VINSA brand: consistent section, high tear resistance, service from -60°C to +225°C. Food-grade and heat, oil and acid resistant grades offered; stocked sizes ship immediately.
Low-Hardness Profiles
Our speciality: soft extruded sections down to 30 Shore A in silicone and 40 Shore A in EPDM. Soft enough to seal light doors, thin panels and slightly warped flanges without closure force, and held to section on the CV line where soft compounds normally slump. Where a standard 60 Shore A profile will not close, this is the fix.
Custom & Compounds
When the part or the material does not exist yet. Send us the problem and we engineer the component or mix the compound to match.
Design / Technical Assistance for Product Design
Send a drawing, a sample or a description of the problem. CAD, compound selection, tooling and production all happen under one roof, so the first article arrives in weeks. Reverse engineering of imported parts is routine work here.
Ready-to-Use Rubber Compounds
Uncured compound mixed to your spec and delivered ready for your own presses. Conductive, fire-resistant, self-extinguishing, or an extremely low compression set. We formulate it and prove it on the rheometer before dispatch.
Prototyping & Machining
First articles before you commit to a production tool. Soft-tooled and hand-finished rubber prototypes in your chosen compound, and CNC turning and milling of metal parts, inserts and test fixtures in our own machine shop. One piece or fifty, so you can fit it, test it and change it before the hard tool is cut.
Silicone sponge takes -60°C to +200°C without complaint. It seals under the lightest closure force, so thin lids and lightweight doors actually close instead of warping against a solid profile. And it barely ages. Sun, ozone and heat cycling do very little to it, which is why a sponge gasket usually outlives the enclosure it sits in.
COST
Extruded can undercut moulded
An extruded silicone gasket can land cheaper than a moulded EPDM one. A moulded gasket needs a mould, and you pay for it. An extrusion die costs a fraction of that and is cut in days. Join the extrusion into an endless loop and any perimeter is possible, still with no mould to pay for. Most buyers assume the opposite until they see the quote. More on silicone gaskets.
Technical Specialisations
Where We Excel
Four areas where our capability runs deeper than standard rubber manufacturing.
01
Soft Silicone Extrusions, 30 Shore A
Extruding silicone at 30 Shore A is technically demanding, the compound is highly elastic and difficult to control dimensionally through the die. We have mastered the compounding, die design, and vulcanization parameters to produce consistent soft silicone profiles at this hardness, ideal for LED luminaire seals, electronics enclosures, and medical device housings where low closure force is critical. The same line runs soft EPDM down to 40 Shore A, where the seal lives outdoors and cost matters more than the temperature range.

02
Gaskets for IP66, IP67 and IP68 Enclosures
We design and manufacture gaskets that hold IP66, IP67 and IP68, and we engineer them for it rather than just quote the rating. Groove fill, compression set and creep are worked out before the tooling is cut, so the rating survives years in service, not just the type test. Proven in lighting, electronics and electrical fittings.

03
Endless Extruded Gaskets, Cut and Joined
We extrude profiles to precise lengths and vulcanise the cut ends into one endless loop. No glue, no weak corners. The joint is the strong point: done properly it matches the profile for strength, and ours sometimes exceeds it. Just as important, it is consistent. The hundredth loop joins exactly like the first. Any perimeter without new tooling, in A-Type, D-Type, P-Type and custom sections.

Common Questions
Silicone (VMQ), EPDM, FKM (Viton), NBR, Neoprene (CR) and SBR, plus over 1000 custom formulations developed in-house for specific temperature, chemical and IP requirements. Tell us your operating conditions and we'll recommend the right compound.
Yes, both, and on a dedicated continuous vulcanizing line of their own. Moulded EPDM gaskets, washers, O-rings and grommets to your drawing, and extruded EPDM profiles, channels, sponge sections and joined endless loops down to 40 Shore A. EPDM is the cost-effective choice wherever a seal sits outdoors: UV, ozone and weathering resistance close to silicone, at a lower price, provided there is no oil or fuel contact and the temperature stays inside −50°C to +130°C.
Yes. Grommets, seals, gaskets and profiles for IP66, IP67 and IP68, designed for the compression-set behaviour and creep resistance needed to hold the rating across the product's operational life, not just at first assembly.
Everything from a single prototype to a million pieces. We turn samples around extremely quickly, and repeat orders on existing tooling ship fast.
Yes. Silton has supplied the Indian and United States markets since 2002, backed by a 45-year OEM track record. Send a drawing and we will quote.
Yes. Send a sample, drawing, or datasheet. We reverse-engineer it and manufacture an OEM-approved local equivalent at or below import cost including freight and duties.
A profile extruded to precise length with the cut ends vulcanised into an endless loop: no glue, no weak corners, no new tooling for a different perimeter. The joint compresses like the rest of the profile, so the IP rating holds around the full loop.
30 Shore A, very soft, requiring specialised compounding and die design. Ideal where low closure force is critical: LED luminaires, electronics enclosures, medical housings. Sponge and foam profiles go softer still.
Yes. We extrude silicone tubing in compliant grades for food contact, pharmaceutical, and potable water applications, formulated to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, BfR Recommendation XV, USP Class VI (chapters 87 and 88) biological reactivity requirements, and BS 6920 (WRAS) for drinking water contact. Sizes from 1 mm to 40 mm ID, custom wall thicknesses to your drawing. Tell us your application and the compliance documentation your industry requires, and we will confirm the right grade before you order.
Absolutely. Send a drawing in any format: STEP, IGES, Parasolid, DXF, PDF, even a hand sketch. We've made everything from micro O-rings under 5 mm to panel seals over a metre long.
Our profiles, joined seals and gaskets are used in IP66 sealing, protected against powerful water jets from any direction. Grommets, O-rings and moulded seals reach IP67, dust-tight with temporary immersion to 1 m for 30 minutes. Custom mouldings and precision seals go to IP68, dust-tight with continuous immersion beyond 1 m, per manufacturer specification. Tell us your enclosure and duty and we will confirm the right profile and compound.
